COMPANY HISTORY
JetSurf was founded in 2008 by Martin Sula, with the intention of pushing the boundaries of water sports, using the team's experience in engineering and electronics to create a new way to ride.
The idea of a motorized surfboard has been in existence for several years. However, our developers, Martin Sula, Tadej Sterk and Zbynek Bures, succeeded in combining their knowledge and expertise in fields such as combustion engines, hydromechanics, composite materials, and electrical engineering to bring this idea to fruition with the realization of the JetSurf power board.

MSR RACING ENGINES
MSR racing engines was established in 1994 with the aim to develop high powered, light weight combustion engines for racing. The long, list of successes is highlighted by stand out projects and partnerships which have established MSR engines as the driving force behind many race winning teams.

KTM – development of Hybrid Two-stroke Motor Drive – K.E.R.S. RED BULL ROOKIE CUP – design and development of engines for Jakub Kornfeil, cup winning team 2009. FORMULA BMW – development of the K.E.R.S. system. |

The team at MSR has put their skill, experience and expertise garnered from these successes into the design and development of JetSurf. Born from race technology, extreme precision and high performance engineering, the team at MSR have produced a machine unlike any other. Designed and produced from the ground up, MSR are one of the very few firms today which continue to manufacture the parts and components of their product themselves. Seeing a need for a new kind of motorsport to best utilize the special breed of high powered, light weight racing engines, the MotoSurf Grand Prix was established in Brno in 2013.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

The power boards created by JetSurf are the only motorized water vehicles with the ability to be transported via person, car, boat, and plane (as personal luggage on international/domestic carrier flights). This allows all users of JetSurf power boards to travel easily around the world — a unique attribute in comparison to other motorized vehicles. JetSurf parts and components are manufactured by the Czech company, MSR Engines, which specializes in the development of combustion engines and special electronics. Some of MSR Engines' clients include: BMW, Skoda, KTM and Honeywell.

JetSurf power boards are produced in one factory using the highest standards of production technology, utilizing the best materials and components currently produced in European Union. This comprehensive in-house production allows us to guarantee our customers maximum precision and efficient service.
JetSurf power boards have been developed with extreme care to minimize environmental impact. Using the most advanced technology, engineers have reduced the total weight of the JetSurf power board and accessories to 14 kg, or 30lbs. Having passed homologation standards for noise emissions, JetSurf power boards also use an internal combustion engine that enforces the technology, Greentech, and complies with the emission limits set for motor vessels. The complete drive unit is certified and approved by the European Commission and received the European Union label, CE.
